I'm a mental health counselor who listens for a living, and since moving to Cranston, I've worked nearly every day to make this city better, through groups like the Rhody Civics Club (that I founded), the Working Families Party, and Cranston Forward.

Cranston is in a real financial emergency, with a deficit over $10 million. We need to know how we got here, and make sure it doesn't happen again by growing our revenue - instead of just budget-cutting our way out of this. I'm the kind of person who reads the whole budget and enjoys it. I want to get it right, not kick the can down the road. I'll do the work, listen first, and bring our neighbors' expertise into our government.
